Altergy Fuel Cell Systems Certified by California Air Resources Board

FOLSOM, California – July 15, 2007 – Altergy Systems, an international provider of fuel cell power systems, announced today that the company has received Distributed Generation Certification from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for its Freedom Power™ products in both 1 kilowatt and 5 kilowatt configurations.

California’s Distributed Generation Certification Program certifies electrical power generation technologies that meet the strict “zero emission” requirements of all of California’s air pollution control and air quality management districts.

“CARB certification of our Freedom Power systems confirms the environmentally friendly nature of our products and the State of California’s continuing commitment to clean technology,” commented Altergy President and CEO Eric Mettler.
