Altergy Powered Eco-Friendly Lighting System Wins RER "Grand Award" for "Most Innovative Product"

Folsom CA, December 1, 2011 – Altergy announced today that the Zero Emission Lighting System powered by Altergy's Freedom Power fuel cells has been named the Grand Award Winner for the "Most Innovative Product" at the Rental Equipment Register's RER awards. The lighting system also took the top prize in the "Light Towers" category.

The RER Innovative Product Award was established in 2003 to honor "excellence in new product development in the equipment rental industry."

Brandley Smith of RER states "RER's 2011 Innovative Product Award grand winner offers a ground-breaking, green, and genius solution to indoor lighting applications with its elemental alternative energy source. The judges selected the product they felt displayed the most innovation in respect to the rental business from the 13 products selected as category winners. One product was named the Grand Award winner."

ZERO EMISSION ALTERGY POWERED LIGHTING SYSTEM

The Altergy powered portable lighting system is extremely eco-friendly -- it is the only product of its type to be rated "zero emissions" by the state of California. This allows it to be operated either indoors or outdoors with none of the harmful emissions and foul smells of diesel powered systems.
