Altergy Systems Signs Lease for Facility in Folsom, CA

GOLD RIVER, California – October 17, 2005 – Altergy Systems today announced it will move to a new facility in Folsom, California. The new site provides five times the space of Altergy’s current facility and will house Altergy’s corporate headquarters, sales, marketing, engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing operations.

“We have significantly outgrown our current facility,” said Eric Mettler, Altergy President and CEO. “The new location will allow us to keep up with rapidly expanding demand for our products. It will allow us to build out multiple automated production lines and begin mass producing low cost, robust PEM fuel cell systems. Interest in our products is booming, and we are pleased to assure our customers a larger production capacity as orders continue to increase.”

Occupancy is expected to take place in the first quarter 2006, following completion of tenant improvements.
