Altergy Features New "On Demand" Freedom Power System for Telecommunications at INTELEC 2006 Trade Show

FOLSOM, California – September 6, 2006 – Altergy Systems will exhibit its new Freedom Power Telecom Backup Power Solution fuel cell system at INTELEC’s 2006 conference entitled “Telecom Power: New Developments to Support the Latest Technologies,” to be held September 10-14 in Providence, Rhode Island, USA.

The new system was designed with the telecommunications industry’s needs specifically in mind. Features of this high quality, reliable, on demand backup power system include the fuel cell industry’s smallest footprint, either skid or rack-mounted; low maintenance with remote monitoring/control capability and long life; a modular design available in 1kW to 30kW configurations; fully integrated with AC/DC power capability; unlimited run time for reduced dependence on batteries; and low lifecycle cost making the system easily affordable.

This INTELEC conference also represents the first joint marketing effort of Altergy and Eaton Corporation since the recent announcement of a global collaborative relationship between the two companies.

Altergy’s telecom fuel cell backup power system can be seen at Altergy’s exhibit, booth #621, and at the Eaton Power Quality exhibit, booth #515.

More information regarding INTELEC 2006, including exhibit hours, is available at: http://www.intelec.org.
