Gary L. Watson Takes Seat on Altergy Board of Directors

GOLD RIVER, California – September 3, 2005 – Altergy Systems Board Chairman Terry Carlone announced that Gary L. Watson, J.D. was elected today to the board of directors by the shareholders of Altergy Systems. He becomes the fourth member of the Altergy board.

Mr. Watson brings to the board and the Company considerable knowledge and experience in growing technology based companies and taking them public. “Gary’s experience with the initial public offering process and governance of public companies will make him a valuable contributor to Altergy’s future course of growth,” added Eric Mettler, Altergy’s President, Chief Executive Officer and board member. “We look forward to working with him to implement our expansion plans.”

Mr. Watson’s background also includes a long history of executive and legal positions in public and private companies. He currently serves as Managing Director of Hydrogen Power Source, LLC (HPS), a firm managing and operating alternative energy companies in the United States, South America and developing nations worldwide. Prior to joining HPS, Mr. Watson was General Counsel of Mannatech, Incorporated and Executive Director of MannaRelief Industries, both headquartered in Arlington, Texas. Prior to that, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Sunstates Acceptance Corporation, Chief Operating Officer of Quantum Leap, LLC, Vice President and General Counsel of AgriTech Labs, Inc., and President and Chief Operating Officer of Life Changes International, Inc. He also has maintained a private law practice.

Mr. Watson earned Bachelor and Master degrees in Agricultural Economics at Purdue University, and a Juris Doctorate degree at Indiana University. He is a resident of Dallas, Texas.
