CAD / Modeler / Draftsman

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and maintain production drawings with engineering oversight
• Maintain and revise CAD models of products and tooling
• Interface with manufacturing and outside vendors providing CAD models and drawings
• Configuration management of CAD data, ensuring expedient revision accuracy through ECO process using PDM Works
• Review drawings and supervise junior level modelers/draftsmen
• Tracking in-house CAD software licensing, service packs, and upgrades, including add-in packages
• Assist in resolution of CAD issues

Qualifications

• 3+ years CAD modeling/drafting and Product Data Management system administration
• Related education/training desirable with experience using Solid Works, including sheet metal, and PDM Works
• Strong 3D modeling skills
• Working knowledge of ASME Y-14.5/GD&T, BOM and ECO processes
• Very strong attention to detail
